Day Gardner, President of the National Black Pro-Life Union, recently held an event in Washington D.C., gathering black leaders from around the country to speak out against abortion.

We asked her "What's the significance of what you are here for, it's Black History Month..."

Peter Shinn, President of Pro-Life Unity, founder of ProLifeNews.tv and also the Monthly Call for Life spoke at the Capitol about the need for people to get more involved in the process of ending abortion. One of the current bills is HR 618, a Right to Life bill sponsored by Congressman Duncan Hunter.

The March for Life is taking place today in Washington D.C.. Hundreds of thousands of Pro-Life people will show up for the unborn, who can't speak for themselves.





Former Attorney General Phil Kline from Kansas is speaking now at the Blogs4Life Conference, an event held at the Family Research Council on the morning of the March.

Senator Sam Brownback spoke earlier.

Peter Shinn from ProLifeUnity, one of the founders of this event, spoke earlier on the need for Pro-Life people to do everthing possible to end abortion immediately.

On January 22nd, Blogs4Life will be continuing on in the afternoon on the day of the March for Life at 1st and Constitution from noon until 4:00 pm. Pro-Life Unity along with Jill Stanek and the Family Research Council have secured a room that is perfect for us to blog in and more. What's so special about this location?

4) A huge window on the 4th floor from which people can photograph the marchers coming up the hill as they go past the Capitol

Jill Stanek, Peter Shinn, President of Pro-Life Unity, Jenny Hodges, National Director for Pro-Life Unity and whoever we can pull out of the March for a quick interview. They will also be available for quick questions and discussion.

The Family Research Council is going to help sponsor this event, but there are still costs that we have to cover. There are 30 seats at the table and another 10 on the sides. What will it take for you to be able to join us? The table seats are only $35.00 and the seats on the side are only $25.00. If we find other sponsors for this event, you will get a partial or full refund!

The Rally starts at noon and the March will get going at about 1:00 pm, but the room will be available for you to store your equipment/computer at 12:00 pm if you wish to do so. Then, after you have marched to the Supreme Court, get on upstairs and start blogging!

David Bereit spoke in Bethesda, MD tonight about the 40 Days For Life project, one which encourages people to participate in prayer and fasting at local abortion mills. The event is taking America by storm and has been responsible for many confirmed "saves".

David Bereit spoke recently at the Capital Area Pro-Life Coalition meeting in Virginia. Pro-Life people from around the area showed up for this talk and for the planning meeting of the first 40 Days for Life project in this area.
