Dear Friend,

Thank you once again for your hard work in the fight to end abortion.
This is a fight that we can win if we all stay focus and keep doing
God’s work. This is a task that we can not give up on.

The Great Prayer Project has seen another good month since the last
newsletter. We are at nearly 40,000 combined minutes of prayer for an
end to abortion. That is great! We have also had over 275 people sign
up to join in the continuous prayer for an end to abortion. This is
also something we are very proud of.

But there are still 10 more months left of The Great Prayer Project and
we need as many prayers as we can get to fill up the remaining time
slots. If you haven’t done so lately, please consider signing up for
another 20 minute time slot and help us end abortion through prayer.

Prayer Project.

If you are looking for a good resource to find information about
praying the Rosary, please check out Rosary Army
(http://www.rosaryarmy.com). There is a lot of information there as
well as 20 minute audio versions of each mystery of the Rosary. This
works great for praying a 20 minute time slot with The Great Prayer
Project.

Without details (but God knows them), a teenage girl is being badgered toward having an abortion she does not want.

Pray for God to intervene.

Dear Praying friends,
Please keep two of our friends in your prayers.  Tina did not go through with her abortion last week but is rescheduled for Monday.  Carry is scheduled for Tuesday night.  Both do not want the abortion but are resigned to going through with it because they perceive that as a better option than the difficulties they are experiencing in their relationships with their mothers.  So please pray for healing in those relationships, that they would be able to accept the support that we can offer them, and most of all for the grace to choose life for their babies.

Operation Rescue has indicated that it is not necessary to be a resident of Kansas to sign the petition.

A Canadian judge has ruled that baby Isaiah James May’s life support can continue for now while the lawyers look into the situation to determine the baby’s condition and potential for ongoing improvement.

From the Kansas Family Policy Council:

This could prevent Kansans from paying for unwanted services in national health care legislation.

The Kansas Health Care Freedom Amendment will amend the Kansas Constitution adding a new article 16. This amendment is designed, “to preserve the freedom of Kansans to provide for their health care.”
KFPC agrees with Senator Mary Pilcher Cook who is leading the charge on this amendment.
• Preserving the freedom of Kansans to provide for their health care.
• Safeguarding the liberty of Kansans from any federal government action, which would coerce participation in a health care system.
• Defending the independence of Kansans to pay directly for health care services without penalty.

01-20-2010 Update:
Alicia had a baby boy on November 30, the Feast of St. Andrew.  He was 4 pounds 3 ounces and is doing well.  His name is Samuel Andrew.  We’re trying to find out about Alecia.

The doctors have found internal bleeding recently and I received an email today stating the doctors say she
has only HOURS, maybe DAYS to live, but we know prayer can change that… if God chooses to. Otherwise
death is a part of life for our sister, so may we pray her and her family towards Jesus’ perfect will and may
all involved be emersed in the Divine Mercy of Jesus’ Sacred Heart and made whole and healed thru His Blood!
They are planning to do a C-section asap in order to secure the life of the unborn child, so pleeeeeeeease be an
intercessor for MERCY RIGHT NOW, before you go to your next email, as we plead Jesus’ tender mercy in this
sacred moment of her life. Ask our Blessed Mother to pray for her “NOW”... because it may well be “the hour

Join with other pro-lifers praying to uphold the culture of LIFE everywhere on our planet.  Contact your legislative representatives.  Go to, or focus on an abortion clinic near you in prayer tomorrow.

When abortion doctor George Tiller was shot and killed at his church, the killing was totally denounced by all pro-life persons who strive to bring about changes for life and for women in a peaceful manner.

There were two tragedies on that day:  One in the family of Dr. Tiller and the other the possible damage done to the cause for LIFE in our nation.  We must still pray for the Tillers.  No one would ever minimize this tragedy to them.  Although it may be that family members and others would not understand how pro-life persons could care about George Tiller as a person, we have cared and have prayed often for him because he also was created by God.  Please do continue to pray for the Tiller family, especially at this holiday time.  There are several grandchildren.

The potential damage to the pro-life cause still remains; we don’t know the end result.  For some, this has been a rallying call toward life.  But the questions remain as the months go by:  As we question “Why?” – Why does God let such things happen when so many have prayed for a peaceful end to abortion and have prayerfully stood for God’s good – let us turn our questions into prayers and an open dialogue between each of us and God.  Let’s let Him instruct us on His holy will in our world.   

And difficult as it may be, we must pray for the shooter and his family in particular.
