Fasting & Praying ATL
If you are unable to be a part of the prayer presence in front of a mill, you can still participate through prayer and fasting. Concerning fasting, almost everyone can at least abstain from sweets and meat for the 40 days. If you are pregnant, nursing, diabetic, or have other health issues, it is best not to fast. I have seen it suggested to fast from TV., movies, etc., and instead pray when you would normally be doing those activities.
Concerning guided prayer, you could pray through the Psalms. I’ve adopted Ps. 10 as my 40 Days for Life Psalm. Let your prayers be guided by several main points.
-That God would grant Georgia repentance and revival, turning back to God and Life, and away from wickedness and death.
-That abortion would be abolished, and the sanctity of life upheld in Georgia.
-That Georgia lawmakers would take a bold stand to protect all innocent life.
-That the U.S. would elect a president who upholds the sanctity of human life.
