Increasing Numbers of Prayer Warriors and Sidewalk Counselors at the Mills
Dear brothers and sisters,
Yesterday (Saturday, March 7) there was a great turnout of prayer warriors at Governor’s Ridge, totalling 44!
A group came all the way from Our Lady of La Salette in Canton, plus we had a large group of students from Pinecrest Academy, along with some parents. There were a couple of students from Georgia Tech, a couple more from Holy Spirit School, a parishioner from St. Catherine’s, one from Holy Family, and a group from St. Thomas the Apostle. We were thrilled to be visited by a priest, Father Manuel Rivas, who is in charge of the Hispanic communities at Holy Family and St. Catherine’s parishes. He hopes to return on March 28th, when the Pinecrest students are planning to come back in even greater numbers.
A total of 17 babies were killed, and we pray that their mothers, fathers, and drivers will find reconciliation with the Lord, healing of their broken hearts, and someday a joyful reunion with their aborted children in Heaven.
An interesting thing happened just as the abortionist, Dr. Daniel McBrayer, was trying to leave the complex. He stopped to wait for the light, and is our custom, all of us who were nearby gathered there to pray for him, in full view of him. Then his engine cut off, and when he tried to start it again, it failed. He was obviously very angry. We were all praying very intensely, and he didn’t like it a bit. He raised his cellphone in the air and appeared to be taking our picture. Finally his car started. One of his employees, Chris, was behind him, in his own car, and witnessed the whole thing. Chris is one we have been trying to persuade to quit since the fall of 2007. We never know what the Lord will do next to try to get the doctor’s attention!
Have you possibly considered coming to join us for an hour of prayer during Lent? We are in great need of prayer volunteers, especially during the week, when it is harder to find people who are available. If your schedule will allow you to come any day during the week in the morning, even for just an hour, please contact me.
One last thing: Please pray for Sylvia, our mother from Ghana who chose Life, whose baby boy is due to be born by C-section tomorrow morning ( March 9th) at noon, that her delivery will be a blessed one!
In Christ for Life….....Sarita
