Praise the Lord!
1Timothy 2:2 “Pray for kings, and for all that are in authority; that
we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty”.
Every Sunday at our home church in Atlanta (BBCC), we pray for
President Obama and his family, and the governing members of our
societies. After reading several news reports, I can only say, Praise
the Lord! There are reports that America is becoming more pro-life,
there are reports that suggest that President Obama’s new Supreme
Court Pick has been concerned about the lives of women and their
pre-born babies. Well, Praise the Lord!
America, we must keep praying, putting God first before all other
things. Let’s not make politics an idol. Republican, Democrat should
not be at the forefront of our thinking. Let us be Christian warriors,
full of agape love and God’s grace!
The first time I met Father Frank Pavone, he was speaking at a
pro-life conference. His first words were “praise the Lord!” I knew
right then that we were on the same page. That was many years ago, and
we are still praising the Lord together.
