I've interviewed Sen. Sam Brownback and he has spoken at Blogs for Life a couple of times, but now, I've got to wonder, who is that masked man? Okay, so I've heard stories about him before, but I set aside the negatives, but now, no way!
What did Brownback have to say about the pro-death/pro-abortion nomination of Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius as the next Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS)?
“It’s an honor for the State of Kansas to have an elected official appointed to the president’s cabinet,” stated the senators. “We are hopeful Governor Sebelius will be a voice for Kansas and rural America at the Department. We look forward to working with her on issues important to the state including a National Cancer Institute Designation at the University of Kansas Cancer Center.”
LifeSiteNews.com had this to say about her nomination:
Hat tip LifeSiteNews.com
The pro-life community across America has almost unanimously spoken out against the nomination of Sebelius, whom Planned Parenthood once called a “champion” of their cause. Sebelius has fought consistently against legal protection for the unborn, so much so that her bishop, Catholic Archbishop Joseph Naumann, publicly admonished the governor to refrain from Holy Communion.
It is an insult to the unborn, the defenseless, God and all Pro-Life people for you “socially conservative” men to endorse a pro-death nominee.
After all this time I think Pro-Lifers are starting to recognize things just don’t look right in Kansas anymore, and the Pro-Lifers in Kansas, well, I think they’re clicking their heels and praying for things to “change”. There’s no place like home, there’s no place like home. Oh no, I am home!
Isn’t the masked man supposed to be the good guy?
