Prayer to Prevent Massachusetts Buffer Zone
Prayer request throught the grapevine
My friend, Michael DePrimo is a Catholic Pro-Life Attorney. He used to be Senior Litigation Counsel for the American Family Association Center for Law & Policy (see below) - until the Center dissolved last May. Currently, he is handling a Pro-Life case in Massachusetts. He will argue this very important case in court next Wednesday, May 28, at 10:00 am in Boston, Massachusetts.
Will you kindly remember him daily in your prayers - asking for God’s wisdom and favor and justice - and forward this email to others who will pray for him? He sent me the following prayer request, so that I could forward it to others. Thank you for your kindness in including Michael - and his work - in your prayers!
In His Love,
Suzette Chaires
“I will argue a very important constitutional case next Wednesday, May 28, at 10:00 am in Boston, Massachusetts. Because I would like you to forward this email to others, I think a bit of background information is appropriate. In November, 2007, Massachusetts enacted a statute that creates a 35-fixed buffer zone around abortion clinics. This buffer prevents pro-lifers from distributing literature and counseling women near the entrance to clinics. In January, I filed a federal lawsuit challenging the constitutionality of the law. If the law is upheld, sidewalk counseling will be effectively eliminated. In all likelihood, other state and local government will pass similar legislation and pro-life speech will be seriously harmed.
Please ask God to move the hearts of the judge and his clerks to do justice by declaring the statute unconstitutional. Ask God to give me wisdom as I prepare the case. Finally, ask God to place his angels all around the courthouse. I expect this case will generate lots of spiritual warfare!
God bless you!Michael”
