Ephesians 1:3-8 Thought/Prayer: Glorious and Lavished Grace. Topics: 2 at end.
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him.
He destined us in love to be his sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace which he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. God is so generous. He freely bestows on us His glorious grace, in His Beloved, Christ. He lavishes upon us the riches of His grace. Our destinies are in love. On earth, we cannot ever hope to match His unearthly generosity. So we just must, simply, praise.
We can praise Him and thank him that we are lavished upon. We can glory in that grace bestowed so freely. We can sigh with relief that our destinies are grounded in love.
He wants all preborn people to be born and eventually come to an understanding of Him and all that He is – to understand freely bestowed, lavished grace; love destined. And He wants the preborn to be allowed opportunity to have knowledge of all there is of Him, as much as is possible on Earth.
It is our task to pray this into being, with His affirmation, and to allow Him to work through us to bring all babies into the world. Our God of grace, love, and destiny will honor our prayers and our service, grounded in His generous ALL. Lord, we claim this in prayer today, in Your Name, that all conceived children will come into the world and will have opportunity to know You.
Topics: Pray with thanksgiving and praise God that He Himself is so generous toward us in our human state. Ask Him to convict in order that all preborn babies may be born.
