§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Ephesians 4:15 (Pt. 3)  Thought/Prayer:  Ways of Love-Speak.  Topics:  2 at end.

“. . . but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ . . . ” (NASB®) http://www.lockman.orghttp://www.bible.com  (Read this scripture and more at http://prayerpivot.com

How do we speak truth in love?  How do we just speak it when we’re absolutely wanting to yell it?  How do we know when to speak it and how loudly? Do many little murmurings eventually collect into one large boom for life?

God surely must direct each of us in this.  Even in the Bible, we had so many types of personalities speaking truth.  We know that Peter was more blustery and impetuous.  Paul spoke out boldly.  The apostle John wrote much about love, and he was the one chosen to look out after Jesus’ Mother as Jesus hung on the cross; she went to live with John.

Our personalities determine the manner in which we speak.  Our opportunities give us the chances to speak.  But in all, we are to speak in love.  This must mean that ranting and raving with condemnation are unacceptable.  But neither shall the blandness of milk toast overtake us.  There is a time for milk toast; but there is also a time for spicy ribs.  And yet, in love.
Lord, help us in Life-work to always remember the overriding element as we speak for life is:  love.  Jesus brought us the law of love, and an aspect of incorporating it into our lives is through our voices.  Lord, help us to be the most effective we can in speaking for babies and others in vulnerableness.  Make it love.

Topics:  Pray for love to prevail in the motivations for all pro-life ministries.
