Ephesians 4:15 (Pt. 2) Thought/Prayer: How Caroline Grows. Topics: 2 at end.
“. . . but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, even Christ . . . ” (NASB®) http://www.lockman.org. http://www.bible.com (Read this scripture and more at http://prayerpivot.com
We have mentioned plants that grow from the center. I know a young woman who has exemplified that. She comes to Bible study with her mother. She has mental limitations and attends a special school. But she’s a beautiful example of what a growing believer should be. Her spirit is so pure and sweet, and she can “out-pray” any of us ladies in the study.
We’ll call her Caroline. Caroline grows from the inside because she loves Jesus. His Spirit within her is very evident to us viewing her from the outside. Her concern for others comes through mightily. Her love for her Lord leads her into caring a great deal about everyone around her. Prayer requests from her include prayers for grandma and grandpa, mom, classmates, teachers and bus drivers.
Caroline inspires us all. If spiritual maturity were to be measured in our group, she would possibly just win the prize. Lord, help us all to appreciate those like Caroline, those who have limitations that make life more challenging for them and for those around them. Help us to see You within them, always, especially as LIFE workers.
Topics: Pray for all persons born with mental handicaps to find their place in life, and especially those not yet born who have been diagnosed with physical or mental challenges.
