Ephesians 6:13 Thought/Prayer: Footprints of a Stand. Topics: 2 at end.
“Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”
When marches for life come around every year, or more often, perhaps the footsteps-taken and footprints laid down in the sands or mud of Earth are a memorial in themselves. Although marching (or walking), indeed the entire effects of marches for any cause are plainly known as the taking of a stand for something believed in. Each step taken, each footprint, symbolizes a person who is standing there for truth and right. If we could duplicate people and freeze them in place where each footstep went or where each foot print shows up, by duplicating them over years, there would be millions showing up, populating footsteps and foot prints. Wouldn’t it be fantastic if we could see all of the people who stood for LIFE over the years, towering above where their shoes made an impact!
What an impact!
Lord, lead us to pray for all who stand for LIFE and leave their tread on Mother Earth, each as a stand-up for LIFE. Help us to continue to walk, to continue to stand.
