§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Exodus 13:16   Thought/Prayer:  Frontlets, As Reminders Even Today.  Topics:  2 at end.

“And it shall be for a sign upon thy hand, and for frontlets between thine eyes: for by strength of hand Jehovah brought us forth out of Egypt.” ASV http://www.bible.com  (Read this scripture and more at http://prayerpivot.com)

Dedicated Jewish men would wear little cases of scripture on an arm or between their eyes as a reminder of God and all things scriptural, I hope it isn’t incorrect to say.  These frontlets were a great prompt to think of God and His word.  And they could be a sign to others that a Jewish gentleman was devoted to God, whatever that could mean.

Maybe we could say that the Word of God was always close at hand or close in thought.

We human beings often need to check our lives against indicators or standards.  If Jesus is our standard, then it is to Him that we look to gauge whether we are headed in the right direction.  Could it be that, even though we are not Jewish or even a male person, we could think of having a sign of our faith in the Word of God on our person?  Could we think of words of scripture between our eyes?  Would that help us focus on our divine guidance more clearly?  If we thought of our arm as displaying our commitment to Christ, would it help us be more careful of the activities in which our hands engage?  I suppose it could be said that, beyond the feel of the frontlet between our eyes, we would personally be much more aware of the idea of a frontlet on our arm than between our eyes, which others would see more clearly than we could.

When we work for LIFE issues on Earth, we often must assess and reassess our position in relationship to the guide posts God sets for us.  Lord, we ask you to make clear the paths we take to save lives.  Help us to recognize the correct signs, as coming from you and not just from our own thoughts.  Lord, help us to live as though we have frontlets of testimony to You.

Topics:  Pray for awareness of God’s Word in your life, especially in regard to activities dealing with LIFE.
