§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Genesis 2:7 (Pt. 3)  Thought/Prayer:  Babies, Children, Jesus.  Topics:  2 at end.

“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.” AKJV (Read these scriptures and more at http://prayerpivot.com.)

All of the living souls God created within mankind become children at certain places along the growth path.  When does a baby become child?  This is probably debatable – but usually toddlers are considered to be children, whereas babies in arms are still babes.  We talk about little boys or little girls, often meaning of preschool or early elementary-school age.  “Girls” and “boys” are no longer viewed as little, but they are not teens yet; they are maybe 3rd or 4th grade and older but headed for the teenage descriptor (one of seven ages that end in “teen”).

However they are considered, Jesus loved them.  When the disciples wanted to protect Jesus from the bother of children, Matthew 19:14 gives us, “Jesus however said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them; for it is to those who are childlike that the Kingdom of the Heavens belongs’” WEY.

What kids were there that day?  There were probably children called toddlers; there were surely little girls and little boys; older girls and boys for sure.  And very likely there were mothers or fathers who handed over babes from their arms into the Savior’s arms for His blessing.  Our world should be so blessed to know that Jesus the Lord had a special place for kids in His loving heart.

If we are assisting someone who is expecting a baby not planned or really wanted, maybe there will be an opportunity to tell them of Jesus’ love for children, persons created by Him just as we all were.  Every one of us was a child.  We were at that point in our lives especially designated by Jesus as lovable.  The unplanned preborn baby is loved like that, with love of the Creator established within the forming body.

When He was here, He made a special thing of children, His delight.

Lord, help us to convey to others the importance of children to Jesus and the importance of bring them to birth, once conceived.

Topics:  Pray for wisdom to say words correctly when telling someone struggling the importance of children to the Lord and then to our world.
