§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Genesis 6:14 (Pt. 4)  Thought/Prayer:  Pine or Oak?  Topics:  2 at end.

“Make a ship of gopher wood. You shall make rooms in the ship, and shall seal it inside and outside with pitch.” WEB (Read this scripture and more at http://prayerpivot.com)

If you had to choose a wood to be,
Would you be a pine or a tall oak tree?

A pine might grace someone’s Christmas trim;
An oak wagon could carry that tree right in.

Pine is softer, warmer to see;
Oak brings strength and tenacity.

But in God’s hand,
We perhaps don’t choose;
He makes us the wood that He can use.

So gopher it was in building that ark,
And it worked well until the ark parked.

We just thank the Lord for whatever he plans,
And He shapes us for uses from loving hands.

Lord, however You want to use us, let us be willing to be shaped by You into creations that serve Your purposes for us.  Not everyone should be that strong oak tree, and not everyone will be an ark in the flood.  But You know our purposes; you plan accordingly; you bring into our lives all that we need.  Help us, as we serve You, serve others, to allow You to form us so that we will be the best for You and others, no matter our “wood.”

Topics:  Pray for willingness to be molded and shaped as God would have us, for our ministries.  He molds us just as He does wee babies in the womb.
