§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Genesis 8:22 (Pt. 2)  Thought/Prayer:  Amazingly Ordered.  Topics:  2 at end.

“All the days of the earth, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, night and day, shall not cease.”  DRA (Read this scripture and more at http://prayerpivot.com)

These words written thousands of years ago are just as accurate and fresh as they were when penned by the writer of Genesis.  Isn’t that amazing!  Yes, harvest still follows seeding time; cold days and hot days take turn-about, even playing themselves as opposites in the two hemispheres above and below the equator.  We still have summer and winter and day and night.  All these were regular in previous millennia; they are still regular in our millennium today.  Praise God for His steadfastness in creation.

He is also steadfast in the creation of the population of our world.  Obviously, babies were conceived in Genesis times. Conception still begins life at that very moment.

Should these thoughts and happenings seem momentous?  No.  Yes.  Well, both.  No, just speaking of the rhythms that occur in nature is not really all that mind-jarring.  We’ve always lived under that arrangement.  But, yes.  When we think about the accuracy of the seasons, scientifically or even as described in the Bible, it’s pretty amazing.  God planned the universe, and our planet in particular, to work on a gargantuan timer that reaches clear out toward infinity.  It is amazingly ordered.  And we humans on Earth do live under the umbrella of this perfect timepiece; and we benefit from it all our lives through.

If we didn’t know that spring follows winter, it’s possible that winter could freeze out any hope, hope of rain, sun and crops.  But we do know that spring follows winter.  It’s part of the plan .  . . . part of the plan just as conception is, and has been from the beginning.  Every baby conceived comes into the world under the plans of the universe.
And, Lord, we need to make certain these conceived ones are actually born.  Help us to do that.

Topics:  Pray for babies planned for life by our God to see the light of day and to grow up under God’s immense and perfect plan for the universe.
