§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Job 11:18 (Pt. 2)  Thought/Prayer:  Thou Shalt Dig About Thee.  Topics:  2 at end.

”And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt dig about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety.”

This King James translation of this verse seems intriguing:  We shall dig around ourselves and take rest in safety.  Well, why would we dig around, and what does that have to do with safety?

The New American Standard Bible puts it this way:
“Then you would trust, because there is hope;
And you would look around and rest securely.”

I can only hazard my own view here.  But don’t we sometimes “dig around” us to see what is out there, to see what the options or challenges are in life?  Don’t we sort of scratch around in the earth of our lives and see what we find?

Pro-lifers should do a lot of stirring up soil and seeing what’s there for us, pro or con.  We can look around and rest in the knowledge that God blesses our attitude toward LIFE and hopefully toward all persons, no matter status or style.  We know we will find answers in our life-gardens’ soil; so dig around we should, continually.  Soil that has been aerated can sometimes bring the most harvest.  It refuses to harden and clump up.

Pray today that pro-lifers will be willing to do some digging to locate anything new in the way of growth or service.

Topics:  Pray for unity among all persons striving for LIFE in our world, on our Earth.
Pray for Kansas, that another late-term abortionist will not be allowed to set up a clinic anywhere.
