Matthew 5:6 (Pt. 2): Thought/Prayer: Fountain of Water Pure. Topics: 2 at end.

Picture an abortion clinic. Picture pro-lifers standing outside, praying. And picture women and some men walking toward the clinic, approaching the door.
Picture a sweetly-flowing fountain of pure crystalline water, greenish blue and sparkling. This fountain is outside the door of this clinic – you may envision it either to the right or the left. Although there are no water pipes to this fountain, it continually flows, never sputtering to produce this cooling moisture made from the molecular formula of two molecules of hydrogen and one of oxygen.
Imagine one of the pro-life pray-ers approaching the fountain with a crystal coffee-type mug, and then filling it to overflowing with the pure sweet water – and then holding it out to the men and women approaching the door. Picture the water being accepted, thirstily swallowed, and then refilled with no other trip to the fountain.
This mind-scene is beautiful – but only because we know Who is the Water of Life: The Lord Jesus. Through the prayers of those at this place of death, life-giving water is being offered to those who approach. It is a lovely and inviting scene: And possible. It is totally within the realm of God’s possibilities, this scenario. And we know seekers of abortions also seek the Lord Jesus, and many have found Him at abortion clinics or pregnancy clinics nearby.
Lord, we thank you for the opportunity to pray for this Water of Life. It’s You, Lord. We pray to you that we will be faithful to hold up those people approaching clinics with death in mind, that we will be faithful to call on you the Living Water, to bring life – not only to babies vulnerable to death – but also to those who contemplate it.
