§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Matthew 6:6 (Pt. 3) Thought/Prayer: In Our Inner Room . .What? Topics:2@ end.

“But you, when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.”  WEB (Read this scripture and more at http://prayerpivot.com)

When we go to our special spot for God, our “closet” or our inner room, what kinds of things go on there?  When we go to our inner room physically, that is an actual room somewhere, what types of thoughts may be going through our heads?  What is the anticipation all about?

This differs with every individual.  Some may think of quietness.  Some may envision being bowed in prayer, either by bent head, or a body bent down.  Maybe some people picture prayers going up as incense to the Lord, as described in Psalm 141:2:  “Let my prayer be set forth as incense before thee; The lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.” ASV

And what about the inner room of our heart, that place in deep, where only God knows what goes on?  How do we anticipate being there?  Do we picture with our Lord, a fellowship of minds?  A fellowship of hearts?  A fellowship of intimacy?  Do we think of relief, when we can tell all but not be told anything by any person about how we should deal with our “all,” should it be sin?  We can just unload and accept forgiveness?

No one will ever need to know all of this about our special place, whether it be in a building on Earth – or in the building, the temple perhaps, of our hearts.  Well, yes, Someone does know.  And if we think we can escape this His knowledge of us, we are terribly mistaken.  He sees us in our physical “closet”; He sees us within our hearts.  Inner or outer, he sees all.

Lord, help us to remember to go to you in our special places, in our physical lives or in our spiritual-heart lives.  Help us to never think that You don’t know what we say or do, within or without.  Help us to appreciate it and then to pass on to others with struggles the peace that going to our special place can bring: because You are there, Lord.

Topics:  Pray for the will to take time to go into our closets to spend time with our God, within, or outwardly.
