“If you then, imperfect as you are, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in Heaven give good things to those who ask Him! WEY (Read these scriptures and more at http://prayerpivot.com.)
The terms “Man up†and “Daddy Up†are used when referring to men or dads and their assigned roles in society, assignments from God to be good men and good fathers to the children that they conceive. Generally, the terms are used as prods to attempt to touch men and fathers with a little reminder to do their manly best. In reference to this scripture above, these terms might be seen as one way to give good gifts to children, the best gift of all perhaps being that of good manhood or fathering.
Let’s claim it for men, this worthy gift. Lord, we claim the scripture here, that lifts up fathers who know how to give good gifts to their children. Lord, please convict fathers, no matter their circumstances, no matter the situation in which they conceived a child, to Daddy Up.
