Romans 5:8 (Pt. 2) Thought/Prayer: Picture a Rendering for Life. Topics: 2 at end.

Can we see every person who walks into an abortion clinic, abortion-minded persons, as needy persons with the greatest need of all: Salvation? Even if there are true Christians who are misled by the advice they have been given, or they are so distraught over an unplanned pregnancy that they cannot think clearly and get into making a panicked decision, many many who walk into abortionists’ offices do not know Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
We can say, smugly to ourselves, “Well, what is this to me? Why would it matter, these who are so blatantly defying the Creator by intending to kill babies He created? Bad people.”
Well, it matters because of Romans 5:8 and 2 Peter 3:9 – He is “. . . not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
Today let’s paint a mind-picture of an architect’s rendering of a new abortion clinic – and there are streams of women depicted as going toward this clinic, women drawn in all sizes and shapes, heading there from many places. As architects often draw people, these ladies/girls are not shown with clear faces. They are non-detailed and are there to give a general impression of how this building will be used.
But change that mind-image. Reverse it. Think of all those individuals doing a 360-degree pivot and walking away from the building; picture them going home to nurture life within and to birth beautiful babies. Think of those who do not know the Lord as coming to Him out of their circumstance and need. Picture detailed faces, smiling and confident, faces peaceful and hopeful. Maybe there is a shining sun in your mental picture, representing the Son who warms and saves.
Lord, we claim this picture. Please help us to think of it often today and to claim your power to bring this about, this reversing of the walk toward death, reversing it to LIFE.
Topics: Ask God to convict of the meaning of LIFE to those walking toward abortion today. Lord, we fervently beseech you in this. Amen.
