§ What is Pro-Life Unity?

To achieve Pro-Life Unity we will establish standards that we all agree upon, and efforts that we all regularly participate in. By working together we can challenge the culture of death and the apathy which is pervasive in our society.

Romans 8:14-16 (Pt. 2)

Thought/Prayer:  “He Used My Lunch!”  Topics:  2 at end.

“For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children.  Now we call him, ‘Abba, Father.’ For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children.  NLT http://www.bible.com/  (Read this scripture and more at http://prayerpivot.com).

What could be more beautiful than to know that the Almighty’s Holy Spirit joins with our relatively “small” if you will, spirits?  Once more I’m taken by these words.  The first time I realized this, it was breath-taking – marvelously so.  It was sort of akin to a children’s puppet rendition I saw one time, of the little boy who had 5 loaves of bread and and 2 fish, enabling Jesus to feed 5,000 men plus all others present.  In the play, a wide-eyed, dizzying puppet says over and over in awe, “He used my lunch.”  “He used my lunch!” – translated, “Oh, wow.  How can this be?”

Such an identification with the Lord of the most magnificent Spirit – with mine!  With yours!  It’s beyond us.

Babies’ spirits, those spirits within tiny renditions of the human body, can have the same relationship with Christ.  They are born seeking the Lord, although they won’t know it for times to come.  When they reach spiritual accountability, they can make Him their Saviour and truly in the fullest way become identified with His Spirit.
How can we ever, then, destroy their little bodies and deny them that chance?

Lord, how we pray that this will not happen.  Please end abortion.

• Topics:  Pray for God’s intervention in the lives of all prospectively aborted babies.
