Who cares about the Stupak amendment in the health care bill?

http://prolifeunity.com

Here’s my two cents. Look how abortion is the #1 issue in health care.  So much so that so-called pro-life Democrats need to get the public funding for abortion out of the bill so that they can vote for it. Do they care about the other major issues, namely assisted suicide, death panels and the fact that this is a hard-core left-wing Socialist bill????!!!!!

The Daily KOS, a liberal online ‘zine said:

“Asked whether her allies in the pro-choice movement would support the bill with the language offered yesterday by Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Mich.), Speaker Nancy Pelosi offered a one-word answer: “Yes.”“

“Yes”

Why do you think they will push the bill through without abortion? Because, for one, they will sneak funding for abortion in somewhere else, it will likely still be in the bill under the hokey provisions “health, life, rape & incest”. Two, again, this is a Socialist bill!!!!!

I don’t blame the Democrats for this, I blame the Republicans. Republicans always look the other way on major issues & pretend they aren’t major issues that need dealing with, or that the Democrats won’t stick to their topics like super glue until they are passed. When it came to affordable housing, welfare, medicare, abortion, sex education, public broadcasting and now health care, did the Republicans push for their own bills until they were passed?

No

The Democrats did.  Give credit where credit is due.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t support those bills as they were passed.  The Republicans could have stopped all of the insane bills if they would have addressed them over time. They might have implemented their own bills instead of being bull-dozed by the Democrats when they are outnumbered.

Look at some of these major issues:

> the housing crisis - caused the Democrats in seeking housing for all, even for those people who don’t have jobs
> social security crisis - caused by creating an insane system which allows our government to steal our money while we are in our working years so that they can give it back when we get older. If we get older.
> health care crisis - what about Medicare and Medicaid?  I thought those were supposed to solve the major health care problems?  What’s with the bill that’s over 2,000 pages?

The first true test of our government will work under pressure with health care came a couple of weeks ago. When over 100 million vaccines didn’t show up, Democrats were asked why & what happened. Pelosi’s answer? Manufacturer’s delays. Really? So why did the manufacturers say they were on time with their distribution? Who did they distribute the vaccines to? Our government!

Our government can’t distribute a simple batch of vaccines and you want to put a bill that’s over 2,000 pages large in their hands to take care of us?????

Forget Stupak, it’s a ruse for the so-called Democrats to vote for the bill. Republicans should walk out on this partisan bill which will add to the long chain of Socialist bills Democrats have cursed America with, right along side the hate crimes bill, Medicaid, Medicare, stimulus spending, Social Security, Freddi mae and Fanni mac.

How did we get here? Because we so ignorantly believe that at the end of the day, everything will turn out okay. That may be true for our future in Heaven, but this great country is almost 50% down the toilet already, and if we aren’t vigilant and pro-active, the USSA is our near future.
