"The Bible says clearly, in the Old Testament, that "My people perish for lack of knowledge". I think there is a knowledge gap in terms of what God's righteous requirements are. And I think the responsibility falls squarely on the shoulders of clergymen like myself. We have not preached the Gospel. We have not preached the word of God the way we should preach it. In that lack of preaching, there is a lack of conscience among many Christians concerning things that are important for us in the culture. So a better question then, instead of can you be a Christian and pro-abortion, how can the Church and the clergy of America sit back and not speak out against it. If the clergy teaches, speaks out, acts out, then the church will follow."
