This video is a part of one of our new efforts at Pro-Life Unity called Pastor’s Letters.  We ask people of the cloth to speak to other Christian leaders to encourage them to get involved in the battle for life.  When I saw Pastor Hoye on Wednesday, I wasn’t sure if it would the last conversation I would have with him before serving a sentence at the Santa Rita jail, but it now looks like that’s the case. 

I spoke with Pastor Walter Hoye on Wednesday, March 20th in Washington D.C..  He was making the rounds there speaking to representatives in Congress about right to life issues.  Some of the representatives he spoke to included Congressman Chris Smith, Congressman Trent Franks and the Congressional Black Caucus.  Pastor Hoye has been going through a monumental battle for our freedom of speech rights.  He was arrested, tried, convicted and finally, thrown in jail for nothing more than speaking for the right to life while holding a sign that said “Jesus loves you and your baby, let us help you”.

Pastor Walter Hoye was turned over the Pleasanton jail at Santa Rita, which is in Alemeda, on Friday, March 20th, 2009 and is required to serve a 30 days jail sentence.

This Action Call is reaching out to all those who know we must stand up for Pastor Hoye, the unborn and our 1st Amendment right to say what we want, when we want.  We are calling out across America to get priests, pastors and everybody who believes in righteousness from everywhere around the world to come stand in front of the jail so that we may get Walter released and get them to drop the charges.

Call them today and demand they let Pastor Hoye go!  If you live near there or can get to that location, make a simple sign that says “Free Pastor Walter Hoye!” and stand in front of that jail as long as you can.  We will post official rally information when we can, but don’t wait, every person who can do so must speak out now!
